Analisis Lafadz Ya'juj Ma'juj dalam al-Qur’an Perspektif Tafsir Ibnu Katsir

Abstract

There are many unique things contained in the stories contained in the Al-Qur'an, whether stories of prophets or great figures, whether they contain wisdom or descriptions of the answers to each action, this is one of the many unique stories contained in the Al-Qur'an. This research uses a library research method, or documentation, by examining the views of Ibn Katsir's interpretation regarding the meaning of verses relating to Yakjuj and Makjuj, which are found in Surah Al-Kahf verse 94. The meaning in this interpretation will be described as it is, analyzed, and then concluded. The focus of the research comes from data related to discussions from e-books and libraries and also collecting some special data or information to be used as material in the library room. Ibnu Katsir provides facts about Yakjuj Makjuj by explaining each verse related to Yakjuj Makjuj. Starting from Dzulkarnain's journey, Dzulkarnain's wisdom, the dividing wall and also the destruction that will occur at the end of time. This is confirmed by the large amount of data that has been mentioned, such as the interpretation of the verse that was also carried out by Shaykh Wahbah Az-Zuhaili in his Tafsir Al Munir.
